About

Hello! We are ROAMING ROAD COLLECTIVE, a queer run collective of nomadic and local creatives, artists & everything in between. Roaming Road is a platform built to uplift creators from all walks of life, especially in the nomadic community. Our goal is to create a loving, safe space of artists on the road. With RRC, we want to bring the nomadic & stationary community together via markets, pop up shops, events & collaborations while we are “stationed” in an area for any amount of time.Traveling and providing our talents on the road is how most of us fund our lifestyle and make a living while on the road. We want to be able to present ourselves to the communities we stay in while helping give back to them.RRC, the collective creative community.
Roaming Road Collective started as an idea with a small group of creatives at a vanlife pride event in january 2022. a group of likeminded people came together and created something so unique, something so intimate, something so incredible. it's honestly kind of hard to put into words how it all happened and i don't think i could if i tried. just one of those "universe works in mysterious ways" moments. Our Mission
Together, as a community, as a collective: roaming road wants to make people everywhere feel at home, feel safe, give back to communities we travel to, help heal our earth & be a part of something bigger. we want to bring community with us wherever we go, creating a safe space for all to truly be themselves, meet likeminded people, support small & local businesses all while being surrounded by a helping, loving community. Our goal when creating spaces in the communities we travel to is to have those spaces last event while we’re not there. we travel full time and want to encourage people to come together wherever they may be.We want to give back, especially to the LGBTQ+ community while helping with other world issues. we keep our space and events as local and green as possible. we have fundraisers and raffles where part of the proceeds go toward an organization that fits the theme of our events. we want to help everyone, everywhere from the queer people deep in the south to innocent families in gaza. we are small but we are mighty and we hope you join the fight. We'd love to have you along for the ride.
See you down the road!roaming road collective is NOT a safe space for facists, racists, homophobes, transphobes, cops, etc… I promise it’s not that hard to be kind to others. treat people the way you want to be treated.
EVENT APPLICATIONS
APPLICATION PROCESS
all vending fees are NON refundable
applications & how they work:
for each event an application will be required.APPLYING: WHY?
it makes it easier to see who is interested in what event, how many people we can fit in one space, it's an area to see everyone's contact info, roaming road coordinators can send applications from vendors to specific venues, some
venues need to approve who vends at the shops, etc...HOW DO I APPLY?
click the link above and fill out the application! fill it out as accurately as you can & be patient once completing it!
VENDING/EVENT FEES: WHY?
simple! since RRC has no revenue in itself, this is a way for us to bring in a small revenue!WHERE DOES MY MONEY GO?
great question! revenue pulled in from event fees will go to the following:
• the national parks conservation association, the national wildlife refuge, one tree planted, local community fundraisers, LGBTQ+ causes & organizations
• merchandise (stickers, shirts, bags, etc..)
• compensation for event coordinators, managers, etc..
• helping keep vending fees low (when required for venues)
• anything required for roaming road collective to improve as a collective/business
• promotional activities

MEET OUR CEO!

Luimen | they/them | 24 | STEM educator | full time traveler
Hello! I’m Luimen! roaming road’s social media manager + event coordinator! i’m the owner of SOLAR OBLIVION VINTAGE, full time nomad, 24 year old non-binary (they/them) queer person with a big dream. roaming road collective is something that means a lot to me and is currently my biggest passion. i love being nomadic so much and want to create a space for all creatives to come together and thrive.Who Am I?
great question, and quite frankly, sometimes i have no idea. but what i do know is that i have a passion for making this planet a better place than how i found it, creating a safe space, wearing my heart on my sleep & bringing people together.
before i purchased my van, i had many idea of what i wanted to do, where i wanted to go & was confused about my path.I work with NASA as a STEM educator working toward my degree in “education in planetary science and physics”. i love all things space, work at an observatory high in the mountains of Colorado every summer.
